NVIDIA launches RTX Spark laptop platform

NVIDIA has officially released its RTX Spark laptop platform globally, targeting content creators, developers, and gamers. The new category of premium Windows PCs features a custom superchip designed in collaboration with MediaTek, which integrates an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU with an NVIDIA Grace CPU.

A standout technical feature is the support for up to 128GB of unified memory, allowing the CPU and GPU to share a single memory pool. This architecture is designed to run large language models and complex AI agents locally, reducing reliance on cloud computing. The platform delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance in FP4 precision.

Major manufacturers including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and MSI are launching devices within the ecosystem. Notable models include the ASUS ProArt P14 and P16, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook Ultra, Lenovo Yoga Pro 9n, Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra, and MSI Prestige N16 Flip AI+. Prices for these devices start at USD 2,599, though regional variations apply.

The platform includes support for NVIDIA technologies such as DLSS 5, CUDA, and TensorRT. It also offers native support for professional creative tools like Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, and Substance 3D via beta versions, as well as AI agents like GitHub Copilot, Perplexity, and Hermes.
