NVIDIA RTX Spark platform launches for Windows AI PCs

NVIDIA has announced the launch of its RTX Spark platform, a new system-on-chip (SoC) architecture designed for Windows laptops and compact desktops. Developed in collaboration with partners like MediaTek, the platform integrates a 20-core Arm-based Grace CPU with NVIDIA Blackwell GPU technology, offering up to 128GB of unified memory and 1 PFLOPS of local AI computing capability.

Starting October 16, 2026, various OEM partners including ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Acer will begin releasing RTX Spark-powered devices. These systems aim to compete with Apple Silicon by enabling high-performance local AI workloads, such as running large language models and autonomous agents, without relying on cloud connectivity. Microsoft is also supporting the platform through optimized Windows workload scheduling and the Prism emulator to improve x86 app compatibility on Arm hardware.

To support this hardware shift, Adobe has rearchitected its core creative applications—Photoshop, Premiere, and Substance 3D—to leverage the RTX Spark architecture. These optimizations are expected to deliver up to 2x faster performance in AI-driven tasks, video editing, and color grading. Additionally, NVIDIA is expanding its software ecosystem with the Nemotron 3.5 series of AI models, including the Nemotron 3.5 Bolt, designed for efficient local execution on RTX devices.
