Nvidia reports massive data center revenue growth amid AI financing expansion
Nvidia continues to see significant growth driven by the artificial intelligence boom, reporting $75.2 billion in data center revenue for the quarter ended April 26, 2026, a 92% increase year-over-year. This growth is supported by a diverse customer base, including hyperscalers, AI clouds, and sovereign customers.
To address market concerns regarding the sustainability of debt used to finance AI expansion, Nvidia is partnering with major financial institutions—including Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR—to establish AI infrastructure financing platforms aimed at mobilizing over $500 billion.
While the company's stock has seen more moderate gains recently compared to previous years, its dominance in the AI chip market remains central to the sector's trajectory. The company's data center networking revenue also saw a substantial rise, increasing 199% to reach $14.8 billion.
