Nvidia reports record 96.2 billion dollar revenue driven by AI demand

Nvidia has reported record-breaking quarterly results, with revenue reaching 96.2 billion dollars, representing a 106 percent increase compared to the previous year. The company's data center business accounted for 89 billion dollars of this total, a 117 percent increase year-over-year, driven largely by demand for AI chips and the new Blackwell Ultra platform.

CEO Jensen Huang described the current trajectory as a ‘gold age’ for artificial intelligence, suggesting that AI growth shows no signs of hitting a ceiling. Despite previous instances where the stock fell following strong reports due to high market expectations, the stock rose approximately 4 percent in pre-market trading following this announcement. Nvidia has projected revenue of 108 billion dollars for the upcoming quarter.
