Nvidia RTX 3060 Returns to German Shelves as RTX 5070 Ti Faces €1,000‑Plus Price Tag
Nvidia has resumed distribution of the five‑year‑old GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB graphics card in Germany. Retailers such as ASUS and Gigabyte are offering the model for about €330, slightly above Nvidia’s €329 suggested retail price, prompting questions about its value compared with newer GPUs that deliver higher performance at similar or lower cost.
At the same time, the upcoming RTX 5070 Ti is slated for launch in February 2025. Early reviews and community discussion suggest the card will retail for well over €1,000, a price many consider disproportionate to its performance gains. Critics note that the RTX 5070 Ti’s raster performance is modest while its ray‑tracing improvements may not justify the premium, and availability is expected to be limited.
