Nvidia RTX 50 series Infinity cards show high clock speeds

New testing data reveals the clock speeds for the Nvidia RTX 50 series Infinity custom models, including the RTX 5090, 5080, and 5070 Ti.

The Gigabyte Aorus RTX 5090 Infinity leads the high-end market with a clock speed of 2,850 MHz, significantly outperforming the Asus ROG Astral RTX 5090 BTF OC Edition, which reaches 2,670 MHz. This represents an approximately 16 percent overclock compared to the Nvidia Founders Edition base clock of 2,450 MHz.

In the mid-to-high range, the Gigabyte Aorus RTX 5080 Infinity also takes the lead with a clock speed of 2,830 MHz, though its margin over the Asus ROG Astral 5080 is much narrower at only 18 MHz. For the RTX 5070 Ti, the Gigabyte Aorus Infinity model reaches 2,850 MHz, leading other variants such as the Gigabyte Master and MSI Gaming Trio OC Plus.
