Interbrand Best Global Brands 2026: Apple leads as tech and entertainment rise
Interbrand has released its Best Global Brands 2026 report, revealing a record total brand value of approximately 3.87 trillion USD, an 8.1 percent increase from the previous year. Apple maintains its position as the world’s most valuable brand with a valuation of 514.6 billion USD, followed by Microsoft and Google.
The technology sector continues to dominate, with nine tech brands accounting for nearly half of the total ranking value. Nvidia emerged as the fastest-growing brand, with its value surging 71.5 percent to 74 billion USD, moving it into the global top ten. Other notable climbers include YouTube, which entered the top ten, and Samsung, which holds the fifth position.
In contrast, the automotive sector experienced the most significant decline, losing its position as the second most valuable industry to the entertainment sector. Major automakers saw double-digit value losses: Tesla’s brand value fell by 37.8 percent, while Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Porsche, and Volkswagen all recorded substantial decreases. Hyundai Motor ranked 29th globally, driven by its investments in robotics and electrification.
