Global companies pivot toward AI and sustainable technology sectors

Lenovo reported a 43 percent revenue increase to 26.9 billion USD in its first quarter of fiscal year 2026/27, driven by its Infrastructure Solutions Group and AI-related revenue, which reached 9.3 billion USD.
In the cloud sector, Iren is transitioning from Bitcoin mining to AI cloud services, projecting an eightfold increase in AI cloud revenue for 2025. Meanwhile, First Hydrogen has secured worldwide rights for an unmanned ground vehicle and established First Humanoid Corp. to focus on robotics and AI.
In the energy sector, SunHydrogen is testing large-scale hydrogen production modules, achieving field efficiencies of nearly 9 percent. Primary Hydrogen received shareholder approval for new compensation plans and is advancing exploration programs at Wicheeda North. Additionally, Siemens Energy's supervisory board approved the spin-off of its Transformation of Industry (ToI) division, which employs approximately 17,000 people.
