NVIDIA to bring GeForce NOW to Googlebook laptops

NVIDIA has confirmed that its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service will be available on Googlebook laptops. While one report suggests a rollout by the end of 2024, another indicates the service is expected by the end of 2026.

Googlebook laptops, a new category of Android-based notebooks developed in collaboration with Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP, and Lenovo, are designed for portability rather than high-performance local gaming. These devices feature premium materials, touchscreen displays, and configurations ranging from 16GB to 32GB of RAM.

The GeForce NOW service will allow users to stream games via the cloud, offloading heavy processing to NVIDIA servers. The service is expected to be accessible natively through browsers such as Google Chrome and Firefox, potentially allowing for use even without a dedicated application.
