Nvidia expands into AI infrastructure financing and data center mediation

Nvidia is expanding its role in the artificial intelligence ecosystem by moving beyond chip manufacturing into infrastructure financing and intermediary services. The company is developing an AI infrastructure financial platform in partnership with major firms including Goldman Sachs, BlackRock, Blackstone, Apollo, Brookfield, and KKR. This initiative aims to mobilize over $500 billion in third-party capital to fund AI data centers and computing infrastructure, with Nvidia potentially backing up to $125 billion of the target.

Additionally, Nvidia is acting as an intermediary to connect GPU owners with data center operators. This strategy includes facilitating connections in Nordic countries to leverage renewable energy and low temperatures for efficient cooling.

Financially, Nvidia is preparing to report its fiscal 2027 second-quarter results on August 26. The company has provided revenue guidance of $91 billion, plus or minus 2%, which aligns closely with Wall Street estimates.
