NVIDIA announces RTX Spark Arm-based platform and DLSS 4.5
At Gamescom 2026, NVIDIA announced several major advancements in gaming technology, centered on the upcoming RTX Spark platform and DLSS 4.5 updates.
RTX Spark is set to launch in autumn 2026 as NVIDIA’s first client PC platform to combine a Blackwell-based RTX GPU with an Arm-based Grace CPU. The platform features 128 GB of unified memory and 1 Petaflop of AI performance, targeting 1440p gaming at 100 FPS with ray tracing and DLSS enabled. To support competitive gaming on the Arm architecture, NVIDIA is integrating native EA Javelin Anticheat, which will support titles such as Battlefield 6 and EA Sports FC 26. Major publishers including EA, Ubisoft, and Embark have confirmed support for the platform. Additionally, laptop manufacturers like ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft Surface, and MSI are expected to release RTX Spark devices in late 2026.
NVIDIA also introduced DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, a second-generation transformer model designed to improve lighting effects and reduce visual artifacts like ghosting and noise. This update is compatible with all existing GeForce RTX graphics cards, from the 20-series to the 50-series. Furthermore, NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW cloud gaming service will support DLSS 4.5 and can reach streaming frame rates of up to 360 FPS.
