Nvidia unveils high‑temp liquid cooling to slash AI data‑center water use

AI data‑centres consume vast amounts of water, with projections for 2025 indicating usage comparable to a small nation’s bottled‑water production. Nvidia has introduced a closed‑loop cooling system that circulates a water‑propylene glycol mixture at temperatures up to 45‑46 °C, allowing servers to be cooled without the large‑scale water‑intake of traditional chillers.
