NVIDIA's Nico Caprez promoted to VP of Global AI Infrastructure Growth
Nico Caprez, the son-in-law of NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, has been promoted to Vice President of Global AI Infrastructure Growth. Caprez, who married Huang’s daughter Madison Huang, joined the company in early 2024 and achieved this promotion by skipping the senior director level.
Caprez is responsible for overseeing data center operations and the ‘Neocloud’ service. His role involves driving global strategy and execution for AI infrastructure expansion, working with cloud service providers, enterprises, and strategic partners. He is also heavily involved in a capital mobilization platform for AI computing that aims to leverage over $500 billion in investment.
Madison Huang also holds a leadership position at NVIDIA as a Senior Director of Product Marketing for Omniverse and robotics. The involvement of multiple family members in key roles at the semiconductor giant has drawn attention to the company’s leadership and succession dynamics.
