Nvidia's RTX 5090 SE rumored; PNY launches compact RTX 5080

Nvidia is reportedly developing an RTX 5090 SE graphics card positioned between the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090. The rumored GPU would use the GB202 chip with 14,080 CUDA cores, a 384‑bit memory bus, 32 GB of GDDR7 RAM, and a 500 W power draw, targeting a price around USD 1,500.

PNY has introduced a slim variant of the RTX 5080 that fits smaller PC cases. It retains the full performance of the RTX 5080, offers 16 GB of VRAM, and features a dual‑fan cooler for good thermals, though it carries a premium price tag compared with other 4K graphics cards.

Both products aim to provide high‑end gaming and creation capabilities while addressing differing market demands for price and case size.
