NxN Data Centers enters Portugal with Évora acquisition

NxN Data Centers has officially entered the Portuguese market through the acquisition of an existing data center in Évora. The facility has an installed capacity of 1 MW and is strategically located on the Iberian axis between Lisbon and Madrid.

Through its newly established subsidiary, NxN Portugal, the company plans to invest up to 100 million euros over the next three years. While these funds are not yet tied to specific projects, the investment aims to expand the company's digital infrastructure in the country. The company stated that future developments will focus on sustainability, efficiency, and readiness for high-density applications and artificial intelligence.

Javier Salas, Executive Chairman of NxN Data Centers, noted that this move is a step toward building a sovereign digital infrastructure platform. The national operations will be led by Rui Barroso, the new country manager.
