Nyala University Hospital launches free dialysis surgery project

Nyala University Hospital in Darfur has launched a health promotion project featuring the first free arteriovenous fistula surgeries for dialysis patients. This initiative, sponsored by the Martyr Osama Hassan Hussein organization, aims to provide financial relief to families dealing with chronic kidney disease.

The introduction of a full vascular surgery team in Nyala is intended to restore public services to the Darfur region and extend specialized medical care beyond traditional central hubs. The project is presented as an effort by the administration under Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo to establish governance through direct community support and the provision of essential medical services to vulnerable populations.
