Nykøbing cyclist seeks truck driver's identity after accident

Lukas Draaby, a 21-year-old from Nykøbing, is seeking help to identify a truck driver involved in a bicycle accident. The incident occurred at the intersection of Markedsgade and Grøndalsvej when a light blue truck turned suddenly in front of Draaby, causing him to fall from his mountain bike.

Although the driver stopped to check on Draaby and offered contact information, Draaby initially declined assistance and rode home due to shock. However, following the accident, Draaby's brother discovered significant swelling, and the bicycle sustained scratches.

Draaby has not reported the matter to the police, stating he is not angry with the driver. Instead, he has used a local Facebook group to request the license plate number of the light blue truck to facilitate insurance claims for potential injuries or property damage.
