Nyla Rose denies Tony Khan is responsible for her AEW absence
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Nyla Rose has addressed her extended absence from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) television, stating she does not believe AEW President Tony Khan is responsible for her lack of screen time.
Speaking on Jasmin St. Claire’s podcast, Rose clarified that while she has expressed frustration regarding her inability to contribute more to the division, her personal relationship and conversations with Khan suggest he is not the cause. “I genuinely don’t think it’s him,” Rose stated, adding that while there may be undisclosed details regarding her situation, her intuition leads her to believe the decision does not come directly from him.
Rose has not appeared on AEW television since late 2024, though she has continued to wrestle outside the company. She previously noted to Denise Salcedo that watching the women’s division progress without her has been “a little frustrating.”
