NYPD investigates two separate shooting incidents in Queens

The NYPD is investigating two distinct shooting incidents involving disputes in the Queens borough of New York City.

In Hollis, police are searching for a suspect who allegedly fired a shot at a 19-year-old male following a verbal argument in front of a convenience store on October 20. The gunman reportedly returned to the scene after the dispute, discharged a firearm that struck a storefront window, and fled. No injuries were reported. The NYPD has released surveillance images of the suspect and is offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to an arrest.

A 17-year-old male was arrested and charged with attempted murder following a shooting in Rockaway Park. According to authorities, the incident began as a verbal dispute over a bus seat on an MTA Q22 bus on October 3. The altercation escalated into a physical fight on the sidewalk, during which the teenager allegedly fired a weapon multiple times, striking a 20-year-old victim in the buttocks. The victim was treated at a local hospital and listed in stable condition. The suspect turned himself in to detectives on October 13.
