Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC signs Latvian striker Marko Regza

Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC has announced the signing of Latvian international striker Marko Regza on loan from the Czech club Hradec Králové. The 27-year-old, 195-centimeter-tall forward joins the Hungarian side with an option to purchase the player permanently next summer.

Regza brings significant international and scoring experience to the club. During his time with Riga FC, he scored 61 goals in 120 matches and was the league's top scorer during the 2022/2023 season. He has also competed in the Europa League and Conference League and has earned 18 caps for the Latvian national team since his debut in 2023.

Tivadar Fekete, the sporting director of Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC, stated that Regza was the player who best fit the team's playing style among several monitored candidates. The club has structured the deal with a manageable purchase option based on the player's performance.
