Nysa hospital project remains in assessment phase
In Nysa, the construction of a new hospital remains in the assessment phase. District Starosta Daniel Palimąka reported that the application has undergone further evaluation, resulting in new inquiries from the Ministry of Health. One specific query concerns the increased surface area of certain departments compared to the current facility, which officials attribute to updated standards, such as moving from multi-person wards to smaller rooms with private sanitary facilities.
Local councilors have raised concerns regarding the project's timeline and financing. Councilor Paweł Nakonieczny requested detailed information on the application's value, the amount of requested funding, and whether funds have been formally granted. There are also questions regarding whether the Ministry of Health is conditioning funding on the consolidation of the Nysa healthcare facility with the hospital in Głuchołazy.
