NYSC schedules physical verification for foreign-trained graduates

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced a physical verification exercise for foreign-trained Nigerian graduates participating in the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream I service year. The exercise is scheduled to take place from September 8 to September 12, 2026, across nine designated centres in Nigeria.

Prospective corps members are required to present original credentials and travel documents that were submitted during online registration. Medical graduates must also provide professional licenses and registration certificates from their respective regulatory bodies. Additionally, all original evaluation letters from the Federal Ministry of Education must be presented.

The verification will occur at centres located in Enugu, Bauchi, the Federal Capital Territory (Abuja), Kano, Lagos, Osun, Rivers, Sokoto, and Adamawa. The NYSC emphasized that only candidates who are physically verified and cleared will be deployed, exempted, or excluded from national service. To prevent overcrowding, applicants must report strictly according to the specific date, time, and venue indicated on their verification slips.
