NYSE American introduces extended trading hours for options

NYSE American options trading extended trading hours stock market financial technology

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has implemented extended trading hours for options listed on NYSE American.

Market participants can now access an early trading session from 7:30 AM to 9:25 AM ET, as well as a late trading session from 4:00 PM to 4:15 PM ET. The initial group of eligible symbols for these extended hours includes SPY, IWM, GLD, and options related to large-cap technology companies.
