Nytt Land to release live album ‘Ritual Of Stone Sun’ in September

Siberian ritual dark folk duo Nytt Land will release the live album ‘Ritual Of Stone Sun (Live 2026)’ on September 18 through the label Season of Mist. The nine-track recording captures a retrospective performance held in Moscow on March 22, themed around the spring equinox and the awakening of nature.

The album spans the duo’s musical evolution, moving from early compositions inspired by Norse mythology to more recent works focused on Siberian shamanic traditions. The tracklist includes the single ‘Ragnarök’ and the 2026 single ‘Equinox.’

Founded in 2013 by Natalia and Anatoly Pakhalenko, the project utilizes throat singing, talharpa, ritual percussion, and flutes. The live recording features session drummer Aleksandr Rosliakov performing alongside the core duo.
