NZZ restructures commercial divisions and expands executive board

NZZ is restructuring its commercial operations by separating its user market and subscription business from its other commercial activities. Under the new structure, the subscription business will operate as an independent division focused on growth in Switzerland and Germany. Other commercial activities, including NZZ Connect, NZZ Academy, and NZZ Live, will be consolidated under the NZZ Experience umbrella.

Corine Blesi, who has been with the company since 2019, will join the executive board to oversee NZZ Experience. Her expanded responsibilities include NZZ Live, NZZ Connect, NZZ Academy, and digital advertising marketing through Audienzz and NZZone. The company is currently conducting a search for a new leader to head the user market division; Roman Bretschger will manage this area in the interim.

Separately, the lifestyle brand NZZ Bellevue is marking its tenth anniversary. The brand is expanding its reach beyond digital channels by integrating journalistic content with live events and strategic partnerships to engage audiences in fashion, design, and travel.
