O Grove prepares for San Martiño festivities in November

The festivities in honor of San Martiño in O Grove are scheduled for November 10 and 11. The program begins on Friday at 5:00 PM with a popular magosto and children's animation in O Corgo. That evening, musical performances will include the orchestras Miramar and La Fórmula, followed by DJ Skiavi.

Saturday's activities start at 11:30 AM with a solemn mass performed by the Coral Polifónica de la Cofradía de Pescadores San Martiño de O Grove. The morning will also feature a proclamation by José Alfredo Bea ‘Fredi’, President of the Galician Canoeing Federation, and a performance by the group Cantodorxo. Following a tripe tasting accompanied by the orchestra Trébol, the O Grove Music Band will perform at 6:00 PM in Praza de O Corgo. The celebrations will conclude in the evening with performances by the orchestras Trébol and Kubo, the reading of the ‘conxuro’, and the free distribution of queimada to attendees.
