O. J. Simpson prank show ‘Juiced’ to be the subject of new docuseries
Investigation Discovery is set to release a four-part docuseries titled ‘O. J. UNSEEN: Exploitation of Evil’ this September. The series examines the production of ‘Juiced’, a 2006 hidden-camera prank show featuring O. J. Simpson.
Originally conceived as a comedy vehicle during the reality-TV boom, the project featured Simpson in various disguises. One notable segment involved him attempting to sell a white Ford Bronco while making jokes related to his 1994 police chase. The docuseries aims to explore the ethical implications of shock television and the volatile atmosphere during production, utilizing never-before-seen footage and firsthand accounts from those involved.
The series will also investigate how the project was derailed by an internal saboteur and how the show represented a misguided attempt by Simpson to rehabilitate his public image following his legal battles.
