The O Marisquiño summer festival will take place in Vigo from 6 to 9 August 2026, turning the Samil district into a hub for urban sports and cultural events. Temporary BMX and skate‑park facilities covering about 45 × 21 metres will be installed, alongside concerts and other activities for participants and spectators.
An official O Marisquiño shop has opened in the A Laxe shopping centre, offering 2026 merchandise and information services. The opening coincides with a new mobility plan that boosts Vitrasa and Mar de Ons bus frequencies, expands night service, and adds special shuttle routes to improve access to Samil. The organizers also advise drivers to use parking areas in Bouzas and Balaídos and continue to the venue on foot.
