O Porriño celebrates Festas do Cristo with Kate Ryan and Janet Novás

The Festas do Cristo in O Porriño will feature a diverse program this Saturday, highlighted by the Dabuten Remember Festival and the official proclamation. Janet Novás, a multidisciplinary artist and Goya Award winner, will deliver the festival's proclamation at 13:30 in the Arquitecto Antonio Palacios plaza.

Belgian singer Kate Ryan is scheduled to perform at approximately 00:30 as part of the Dabuten Remember Festival. She will be introduced by Juaniña, a 101-year-old local resident known for her frequent participation in town celebrations. The musical lineup also includes Khris Guez, Traffic House, Dmirón, and Michi.

Other scheduled events include the Queiman Folk-Rock show, the Cristo de Bandas Festival, and various workshops for children. Religious ceremonies, including a solemn mass and procession, are also planned for the weekend.
