O Porriño police rescue man from house fire

Local police in O Porriño rescued a man trapped inside a house during a fire on Lugo Street. During the rescue, officers forced entry into the smoke-filled building despite the presence of ammonia, which increased the risk of toxic gas exposure.

Several officers required medical assistance at the Ribera Povisa Hospital in Vigo due to smoke and gas inhalation. The rescued man was treated at the Álvaro Cunqueiro Hospital. Following his medical stabilization, National Police officers detained him after discovering he had multiple outstanding judicial arrest warrants.
