O2 Czech Republic expands roaming coverage to 101 countries
O2 Czech Republic is expanding its Data Pass roaming service to include six additional destinations: Morocco, Cape Verde, Seychelles, Taiwan, Bahrain, and Bangladesh. This expansion brings the operator's total roaming coverage to 101 countries.
The decision follows shifting travel patterns identified by the company's data. Between January and September 2026, customer trips to Morocco increased by 22% and Cape Verde grew by 13% compared to the previous year. By adding these locations, along with Taiwan, Bahrain, and Bangladesh, the operator aims to provide competitive alternatives to travel-specific SIM cards.
Rather than introducing new tariffs for each market, O2 is extending its existing short-term roaming packages, which start at CZK 199. This move targets travelers looking for predictable costs outside the European Union.
