O2 launches Plus Bundles with up to €35 monthly savings in Germany

German mobile operator O2 introduced new "Plus Bundles" that let customers combine an O2 Mobile M Plus plan (minimum 50 GB) with one of four add‑ons – home broadband, O2 TV, a smartphone or a partner line. Depending on the chosen add‑on, the bundle can reduce the monthly bill by €15 to €35 while the discount remains for the life of the contract.

Separately, German consumer advisers reminded users that telecom providers must continue service at a new address after a move without forcing a new contract. A simple registration certificate proves the move. If a provider cannot supply the service, customers have a special one‑month termination right. A recent case involved a provider whose move‑form automatically created a 24‑month contract, which regulators deemed misleading.
