OAB-PE holds public protest in Ouricuri to defend lawyers

The Brazilian Bar Association (OAB-PE), in collaboration with the Ouricuri and Araripina sub-sections, held a public redress session in front of the National Social Security Institute (INSS) in Ouricuri, Pernambuco.

The protest was organized to defend lawyers Paulo César do Espírito Santo Soares and Cristian Kelly da Silva Gomes following allegations of professional misconduct by a medical expert at the social security agency. The OAB-PE stated that the expert's actions constituted a serious violation of professional prerogatives. OAB-PE President Ingrid Zanella emphasized that the institution will not tolerate violations of the free exercise of the legal profession.
