OAB-RJ extends deadline for free women's health exams

The OAB-RJ has extended the deadline for its women's health initiative, conducted in partnership with Sesc, until September 30. The mobile Sesc Saúde Mulher unit, located in front of the OAB-RJ headquarters in downtown Rio de Janeiro, offers free preventive exams and mammographies.

To date, the project has facilitated over 1,300 preventive exams and nursing consultations, along with nearly 1,800 mammographies. Mammographies are intended for women aged 40 to 74, while cervical cancer preventive exams are indicated for women aged 25 to 64. Individuals outside these age ranges may still be seen if they provide a medical request.

Lawyers registered with OAB-RJ can schedule appointments for any available time through the official portal. The general public and lawyers with outstanding annual fees may schedule appointments for the day of the request or the following two days, subject to availability.
