OAB SP to host agribusiness law conference in Ribeirão Preto

The Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil – Seção São Paulo (OAB SP) will host the 3rd State Conference on Law and Agribusiness on September 17 and 18 in Ribeirão Preto. The event aims to bring together legal professionals and agribusiness representatives to address critical legal challenges facing rural producers.

Key topics include rising rural indebtedness and the use of judicial recovery as a tool for debt renegotiation. Discussions will also cover the impacts of the new tax reform on the acquisition of inputs, commercialization, and investments. Additionally, the conference will address agricultural contracts, such as leases and Rural Product Notes (CPR), as well as family succession planning and land regularization to ensure the continuity of farm businesses across generations.
