Oak Glen and Weir prepare for Carl Hamill Trophy season opener

Oak Glen and Weir high schools are set to face off in their season opener for the Carl Hamill Trophy. The matchup features a unique dynamic as both teams will be led by coaches making debuts at their respective alma maters.

Chris Hill will make his head coaching debut for Weir High, having previously served as an assistant and a state title winner at Oak Glen. Derrick Stickles returns to lead Oak Glen, having previously served as an all-state player for the Golden Bears and most recently as an assistant at Beaver Local.
