Oakland Athletics defeat Seattle Mariners in consecutive wins

The Oakland Athletics secured consecutive victories against the Seattle Mariners in recent matchups. In a 7-4 win, Lawrence Butler drove in the go-ahead run with a two-run single in the fifth inning, supported by a dominant pitching performance that included 18 combined strikeouts.

In a subsequent 7-6 victory, the Athletics became only the second Major League team this season to hit four home runs in a single inning.
