Oakmond Marbella wellness resort breaks ground in Spain

Construction has officially begun on the Oakmond Marbella Wellness Clinic Resort, a luxury project located on the site of the former Incosol hotel in Marbella, Spain. The development, spearheaded by Ilanga Capital, involves an investment exceeding 260 million euros.

The complex is designed to integrate high-end hospitality with advanced medical services, focusing on longevity, preventive medicine, and personalized treatments. The project will feature 140 hotel rooms, 28 exclusive residences, and a 10,000-square-meter medical clinic specializing in early diagnosis and wellness.

Scheduled to open in 2029, the resort will occupy a plot of over 53,000 square meters in the Río Real area. The construction, awarded to San José, aims to achieve LEED Gold certification for sustainability. Marbella Mayor Ángeles Muñoz attended the groundbreaking ceremony, noting the project's potential to establish the city as an international hub for health and wellness tourism.
