Oakwood Epping Melbourne to open in northern corridor

Oakwood Epping Melbourne is scheduled to open on November 2, providing 122 rooms in Melbourne’s northern corridor. The property will offer studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartment options, all featuring kitchenettes to accommodate both short and extended stays.

Located on Cooper Street, the hotel is situated near the Northern Hospital Epping, Pacific Epping Shopping Centre, and the Melbourne Market. Facilities at the site include a gym, onsite food and beverage services, secure parking, and an upper-level alfresco terrace with barbecue facilities. Some deluxe units also include private balconies.

This marks the brand’s second Australian property, following Oakwood Premier Melbourne, with an Adelaide location planned for late 2027. David Mansfield, Managing Director of The Ascott Limited Australasia, stated the opening addresses the rising demand for long-stay accommodation in the rapidly growing Epping area.
