Oakwood Public Market to reopen under new ownership

Dallas and Sarah Miller, hospitality veterans, have taken over the lease for Oakwood Public Market in Dripping Springs following its recent closure. The market, which functions as a collection of small spaces and a community gathering spot, ceased operations on July 3 due to rising costs, staffing constraints, and leadership turnover.

The Millers have taken over the lease from developer Oryx Development and plan to reopen the business in stages, with a goal of being fully operational by September. The coffee shop is expected to reopen first, followed by other sections of the market, which will retain its original name.
