Oana Gheorghiu accepts Romanian Minister of Health role

Oana Gheorghiu, a member of the National Liberal Party (PNL), has accepted the proposal to serve as the Minister of Health in the government of Prime Minister-designate Siegfried Mureşan.

Gheorghiu stated that her decision was driven by her 15 years of experience in civil society, during which she participated in over 30 projects involving the construction, renovation, and equipping of public hospitals. She emphasized the need for modern, well-administered healthcare facilities, noting that the Romanian health system cannot afford to wait for miracles.
