OANDA appoints Karolina Jasica as Global Compliance Officer

OANDA has appointed Karolina Jasica as its new Global Compliance Officer. Jasica joins the firm from IG Group, where she most recently served as Head of Compliance Monitoring, Assurance and Regulated Complaints. Based in Krakow, Poland, she will report to OANDA Chief Legal Officer Eva Svobodova in Prague.

Jasica brings extensive experience to the role, having previously spent 15 years at State Street in various compliance and investment roles across Europe and the US. Her appointment follows another recent move from IG Group to OANDA, where former risk executive Paweł Latocha was named Head of Operational Risk and added to the OANDA TMS board.

These leadership shifts occur as OANDA continues to restructure its senior management team following its acquisition by the proprietary trading firm FTMO late last year. The installation of FTMO co-founders Otakar Šuffner and Marek Vašíček as Co-CEOs has driven much of the recent organizational change.
