Oando PLC shareholders approve cross-border listings

Oando PLC held its 47th Annual General Meeting on September 17, 2026, where shareholders passed all presented resolutions and reaffirmed confidence in the company’s management and strategic direction.

Key approvals included the re-election of several directors, the re-appointment of BDO Professional Services as external auditors, and the approval of the 2025 audited financial statements. Shareholders also authorized amendments to the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association to accommodate digital assets, cryptographic technologies, and distributed ledger technologies.

A significant resolution authorized the Board to pursue cross-border listings on other stock exchanges to enhance stock liquidity, optimize shareholder value, and provide international investors with seamless access as the energy group scales operations. The company previously made history in 2005 as the first African company to achieve a cross-border inward listing on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
