OAR Coruña defeats Benidorm in División de Honor Plata

Attica 21 Hotels OAR Coruña secured a 28-30 victory against Servigroup Benidorm in the seventh round of the División de Honor Plata handball league. The win marks the sixth victory in seven matches for the Galician side, keeping them in contention for the league leadership.

Despite a challenging travel schedule involving a long bus journey to Benidorm, OAR Coruña maintained control throughout the match. After an initial lead by the home team, players such as Javi Moya and Mario López helped the visitors establish a lead that they did not relinquish. Mario López was a key contributor to the scoring in the second half, while Israel Marín provided defensive stability in the first half.

The victory comes despite OAR Coruña facing several player availability issues due to injuries to Macapá, Pablo Moral, and Henrique Traba.
