OAS recognizes President Mulino for supporting women's political participation in Panama

The Organization of American States (OAS) High-Level Group for the Strengthening of Women's Political Participation met with Panamanian President José Raúl Mulino at the Palacio de las Garzas. The group, led by Susana Malcorra, recognized the President's commitment to adopting recommendations from the OAS electoral mission regarding the previous general elections.

Specifically, the mission is following up on efforts to improve women's involvement in politics. Malcorra expressed satisfaction with the administration's support for this agenda. The meeting also included Panamanian Foreign Minister Javier Martínez Acha and representatives from the OAS General Secretariat.
