Oasi Maria Santissima di Troina pays only 50% of September salaries

The IRCCS Oasi Maria Santissima di Troina has announced it will pay only 50% of employee salaries for September. This decision follows ongoing financial difficulties at the institute and adds to a growing list of unpaid wages and contractual arrears spanning several years.

The trade union CISL FP has expressed deep concern, stating that the situation is no longer sustainable. While acknowledging the institute's financial struggles, the union argued that workers should not continue to bear the burden of a prolonged crisis, especially as they have maintained essential medical services and assistance.

Management has indicated that new developments are underway regarding the recovery of funds owed by the ASP of Enna and the Sicilian Region for welfare functions. However, the local community remains anxious due to the institute's significant economic impact on the town of Troina, where it employs several hundred people.
