Oasis documentary captures Gallagher brothers' reunion tour
The documentary film ‘Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger’ is set for a global theatrical release this September, chronicling the highly anticipated reunion of the British rock band Oasis during their ‘Oasis Live ’25’ world tour.
Created by Steven Knight, the writer of ‘Peaky Blinders’, and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, the film features rare footage from rehearsals, backstage moments, and the band’s massive stadium performances. Notably, the documentary includes the first joint interview between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher in over 20 years. To capture the brothers' reconciliation authentically, filmmakers used hidden cameras during rehearsals so the musicians would not be distracted by the film crew.
The film will premiere at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. Following its theatrical run in select IMAX and standard cinemas, it will be available for streaming on Disney+ and Hulu. In Japan, the film will receive a limited two-week release in over 70 theaters starting September 11.
