Oasis documentary “Don’t Look Back in Anger” to debut at Venice Film Festival
The documentary Oasis: Don’t Look Back in Anger — a film chronicling the British band Oasis’s reunion tour “Live ’25” — will have its world premiere out of competition at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival. The project is written, produced and directed by BAFTA‑nominee Steven Knight and co‑directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace. Produced by Magna Studios in partnership with Sony Music Vision and Sony Music Entertainment UK, the film features the first joint interview of brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher in more than two decades, along with behind‑the‑scenes footage of rehearsals, backstage moments and stage performances.
The documentary is slated for theatrical release in Italy on 10 September, followed by a wider cinema rollout that includes Venezuela on the same date. An international streaming window on Disney+ is planned for later in the year, after an exclusive run on Hulu in the United States.
