Oasis documentary premieres at 2026 Venice Film Festival
The film "Don’t Look Back in Anger" documents the 2025 Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour, marking the first time Liam and Noel Gallagher shared a stage in 16 years. It includes rehearsal, backstage and concert footage, as well as the brothers' first joint interviews in over two decades.
The documentary, created by BAFTA‑ and Oscar‑nominated writer‑producer Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, is a Magna Studios and Sony Music Vision production. It will have its world premiere out of competition at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival (Sept 2‑12 2026), with the brothers confirmed to attend. An IMAX and cinema release is scheduled for early September, followed by exclusive streaming on Disney+ (internationally) and Hulu (U.S.) later in the year.
The film is positioned as “the biggest musical event of 2025,” highlighting the cultural impact of the sold‑out tour and the renewed relevance of British Britpop worldwide.
