Oasis reunion draws documentary release and social media disputes

The Oasis reunion continues to generate significant attention through both new media and public disputes. A new documentary, ‘Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger’, created by Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, is now streaming on Disney+. The film chronicles the band’s reunion tour, capturing the tension and fragile relationship between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher as they navigated their comeback.

Amidst the success of the reunion and the announcement of the ‘Live ’27 Tour’—which includes 42 shows across 11 countries—Liam Gallagher has engaged in a social media dispute with the Dublin-based post-punk band Fontaines D.C. Following suggestions from fans that Fontaines D.C. should open for Oasis, Gallagher dismissed the band, stating they “don’t have any tunes.” This follows previous comments from Fontaines D.C. members expressing indifference toward the Oasis reunion.
